UNIVERSITY TUITION FEES | University of York

Tuition fees for 2012 entry: £9,000

What they say: "The University of York, a world top 100 university, plans to set tuition fees at £9,000 a year for new full-time home and EU undergraduate students from October 2012. Students from lower income families will receive substantial reductions and financial support.

The University is recognised as the most socially inclusive of the UK’s leading higher education institutions and is committed to continuing to attract a diverse mix of students. We will introduce a comprehensive package of measures to ensure that able students are not deterred from applying to York."

Information correct as of February 2012. Please note this page focuses on the new tuition fees system payable by UK (Home) and EU students on a full-time undergraduate degree course in England. The system for international students has not changed radically and, therefore, annual fees for international students are likely to remain unchanged and higher than those stated on this page.
