TUITION FEES | University College Plymouth St Mark & St John (UCP Marjon) Tuition
fees for 2012 entry: £7,800 What
they say: "Announcing
the new fees the Principal Professor Margaret Noble commented; "In deciding
our fees, there was only one consideration, the actual cost of providing and continuing
to invest in the development of outstanding professional and career focused programmes
for our students. £7,800 is the answer. To charge less would negatively affect
quality, to charge more would be adding unnecessary financial barriers to students.
We have made significant strides to improve efficiencies while strengthening the
quality of our programmes and our student support. Over the past few years, our
Institution has continued to build on its reputation for excellent, career focused
degree programmes: owning the highest employability rating in the South West;
graded ‘Outstanding’ by the TDA for our teacher training programmes; 1 of only
8 institutions to be awarded distinction by the National Youth Agency; and obtaining
Matrix Accreditation for our student support." UCP
Marjon will be participating in the National Scholarship Programme and will be
providing financial support to ensure all those who can benefit from Higher Education
will have access irrespective of family income." Source:
