TUITION FEES | University of Huddersfield Tuition
fees for 2012 entry: £7,950 What
they say: "If
you are due to start with us in September 2012 and you are a UK or EU undergraduate
student, your tuition fee will be £7,950, subject to agreement by the Office of
Fair Access. If you choose to take a placement year during your course, and where
one is available we really recommend that you do, then we will charge just £500
for that year, simply to cover our admin costs. So
why have we decided to set our fee at £7,950? It is because we want to set a fee
level that strikes a balance between compensating for government cuts and being
fair to you. As such, we’ve decided not to set the highest fee of £9,000 because
we don’t need to. Our
fee of £7,950 partially compensates for the amount of funding we are losing from
the Government. So we’ll still be able to provide you with a top notch education,
first class facilities and prepare you for the world of work, without saddling
you with unnecessary debt. In short, we are setting fair fees and you get a priceless
education." Source:

Information correct as
of February 2012. Please note this page focuses on the new tuition fees system
payable by UK (Home) and EU students on a full-time undergraduate degree course
in England. The system for international students has not changed radically and,
therefore, annual fees for international students are likely to remain unchanged
and higher than those stated on this page.
