TUITION FEES | University of Cambridge Tuition
fees for 2012 entry: £9,000 What
they say: "The
University of Cambridge will be charging new UK and EU students tuition fees of
£9,000 per year for all undergraduate courses in 2012. The tuition fee for those
studying on a year abroad will be half the standard tuition fee during that year. However,
many students will be eligible for a Cambridge Bursary which means that their
tuition fee could be as low as £6,000 per year. Some students will also be eligible
for a further £6,000 fee waiver through the National Scholarship Programme thus
potentially reducing their tuition fee to £0 in the first year. Rather
than pay your tuition fees up front or while studying at the University, you can
take out a government student loan for tuition, and defer payment until you have
left Cambridge and are earning a minimum salary (currently £21,000 per year). Students
from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland should check arrangements with the appropriate
student finance award agency." Source:

Information correct as
of February 2012. Please note this page focuses on the new tuition fees system
payable by UK (Home) and EU students on a full-time undergraduate degree course
in England. The system for international students has not changed radically and,
therefore, annual fees for international students are likely to remain unchanged
and higher than those stated on this page.
