UNIVERSITY
TUITION FEES | Brighton and Sussex Medical School Tuition
fees for 2012 entry: £9,000 What
they say: "From
2012, new UK and eligible EU undergraduate BSMS students will be charged £9,000
per year, and the BSMS partner universities have received government approval
for this. At the
same time, BSMS students will be able to apply to the University of Sussex First-Generation
Scholars scheme to support students whose parents haven't been to university,
as well as those from low-income families. Students receiving UK Government grant
support will be entitled to financial support via the scheme, and we have therefore
set the eligibility threshold at the highest level possible – i.e. students whose
family income is up to £42,600." Source:

Information correct as
of February 2012. Please note this page focuses on the new tuition fees system
payable by UK (Home) and EU students on a full-time undergraduate degree course
in England. The system for international students has not changed radically and,
therefore, annual fees for international students are likely to remain unchanged
and higher than those stated on this page.
